Your questions, answered.

Everything women usually ask before their first wellness retreat with us, from payment plans and sharing a room to food, what to bring and getting here.

Before you book

Will there be women my age?

Yes. Our guests are anywhere from 18 to 60 and over.

I’ve never been on a retreat. Is that okay?

For most of our guests, this is their first retreat. Come exactly as you are.

How much is it?

Every retreat’s price is beside its dates, for a shared room and a room of your own, and the first to book get the early-bird price. A deposit holds your place.

Can I pay it off?

Yes. We only need a deposit to secure your place, and the final payment is due one month before the retreat. Payment plans are available, and we’ll make it work for you.

Can I share a room?

Yes, and the price comes down when you share. Some rooms sleep up to four, so come with your bestie, your sister or your mum.

Can I bring my team?

Yes. We run corporate retreats, with the right accommodation, catering and facilitators for your team. Choose “A corporate retreat” when you enquire. More about corporate retreats.

The weekend

Is it a detox?

No. You can use your phone and you can drink coffee. There’s no judgement here: we want you to have the best time and get what you need.

When do I arrive and leave?

At our last retreat, guests arrived at The Cape on Friday between 1.30 and 2pm, and headed home on Sunday at 5pm. We confirm your times when you book.

Do I have to do every activity?

All activities throughout the retreat are optional, but they are highly recommended. We do suggest partaking, as the magic happens outside of your comfort zone!

What should I bring?

Something comfortable and easy to move in, workout wear for yoga and Pilates, a pair of slippers to stay cosy around the house, your bathers for the contrast therapy, and an eye mask. We’ll send you the full list.

Can I use my phone?

Yes. During activities we ask that you leave it in your room: let’s disconnect to reconnect. We capture moments throughout the retreat, and can add you to the shared album.

Will there be coffee and alcohol?

We suggest that you experience an alcohol-free retreat, and ideally no caffeine, as our chai and cacao contain some. There’s a coffee pod machine and tea at the drinks station if a coffee will mean an even better experience for you.

Can you cater for my dietaries?

Absolutely. Our caterers, Green Grazing, handle every guest’s dietary needs and allergies with real attention and care, as long as we know beforehand.

Can I book a massage or a 1:1 session?

Yes. There are treatment rooms for massages and facials, and 1:1 sessions run in the free time through the weekend. We’ll remind you of your 1:1 details separately.

Will there be photos?

We’ll be around capturing moments for the website and socials. If you don’t want to be in them, just let us know. If you do want pics of yourself, let us know too.

Getting there

How do I get there?

Our retreats are south of the Melbourne CBD: in Melbourne’s bayside, close to the city, or on the coast at Cape Schanck. If you’re flying in, we’ll help you organise transfers to and from the airport.

Choose yourSELF.

Tell us a little about you, and Sue will call you to talk it through: the dates, the rooms, the payment plans, and anything you’re unsure about.
