Stories from the circle.

Women who chose themselves, in their own words.

  • If you are thinking about going on The SELF Retreat, this is your sign to do it! I truly cannot recommend it enough. This retreat isn’t just about taking time out to rejuvenate, but you will walk away with tools to continue to look after yourself and grow day in and day out. It may sound crazy, but I truly grew as a person over the span of a weekend. It was like someone opened a door that had been locked for a very long time and my next level self was waiting on the other side. Sue, Dena & Danni are the most beautiful, caring humans and are truly there for you every moment of the retreat to celebrate your highs & support you in the challenging moments. Cannot recommend enough.

  • I could not more highly recommend that you say yes to ‘The Self Retreat’. There’s never a right or wrong time to invest in you. Whether gifting yourself the treat of TSR or thinking of gifting to someone, it’s a must for all. I have completed my time at TSR feeling grounded, focused, empowered, supported and ultimately myself, my true authentic self. I admit I was anxious to leave on the final day, as I was scared to leave the serenity and safety of the sisterhood we created over such a short but powerful time. Post TSR though I have gained the tools, the belief and the confidence I had forgotten I have. That I’ve always had. TSR has refocused me on my goals, my wants, my desires, my self empowerment. Couldn’t more highly recommend. Thank you Dena, Sue and Danni. And all the facilitators over the weekend.

  • Every single facilitator was utterly magical and superb. A beautiful tribe of women filled with love, light, knowledge, skills, warmth, compassion, and empathy. LOVE!!! All talented and truly gifted in their various areas of strength.

Your questions, answered.

Everything women usually ask before their first wellness retreat with us, from payment plans and sharing a room to food, what to bring and getting here.

Something else? See all the questions, or message us on Instagram, @the_self_retreat.

Will there be women my age?

Yes. Our guests are anywhere from 18 to 60 and over.

I’ve never been on a retreat. Is that okay?

For most of our guests, this is their first retreat. Come exactly as you are.

Is it a detox?

No. You can use your phone and you can drink coffee. There’s no judgement here: we want you to have the best time and get what you need.

Can I pay it off?

Yes. We only need a deposit to secure your place, and the final payment is due one month before the retreat. Payment plans are available, and we’ll make it work for you.

Can you cater for my dietaries?

Absolutely. Our caterers, Green Grazing, handle every guest’s dietary needs and allergies with real attention and care, as long as we know beforehand.

Can I share a room?

Yes, and the price comes down when you share. Some rooms sleep up to four, so come with your bestie, your sister or your mum.

How do I get there?

Our retreats are south of the Melbourne CBD: in Melbourne’s bayside, close to the city, or on the coast at Cape Schanck. If you’re flying in, we’ll help you organise transfers to and from the airport.

How much is it?

Every retreat’s price is beside its dates, for a shared room and a room of your own, and the first to book get the early-bird price. A deposit holds your place.

Choose yourSELF.

Tell us a little about you, and Sue will call you to talk it through: the dates, the rooms, the payment plans, and anything you’re unsure about.
